The Full Story
You're losing more money than you realise to stale food. The average Canadian household wastes $1,300 in groceries per year. Not because people are careless — but because open bags were never designed to be properly resealed. Fold-over tops let air in. Chip clips are too weak to be airtight. Rubber bands slip. Transferring everything to zip-lock bags wastes plastic and still doesn't beat the original bag.
The Seal Edit changes this with one simple tool.
The Seal Edit applies a precise strip of heat along the edge of any plastic, foil, or multi-layer bag — the same sealing process used in the original factory. The result: an airtight bond that keeps your food exactly as fresh as the moment you opened it. The 2-in-1 design adds a built-in cutter so you can also cleanly open bags from the top without hunting for scissors. One tool. Two jobs. Always on the fridge.
What you'll notice in the first week
- Your chips are still crunchy three days later
- Your cereal doesn't go soft after one pour
- Your coffee bag actually smells like coffee all week, not just on Monday
- Your pet food stays in the bag instead of getting everywhere
- Your kitchen drawer has fewer clips, bands, and things that don't work
Built to actually last
The Seal Edit uses a rechargeable polymer battery with a USB-C port — the same connector as your phone. One full charge seals up to 200 bags. The magnetic back holds The Seal Edit against any metal surface — fridge, oven front, metal spice rack. Out of the drawer. Always within reach. Actually used.

- Anyone who lives alone and constantly has open bags that go stale before finishing
- Parents who are tired of telling their kids to "close the bag properly"
